| Don't place your elderly loved one in a large institutional
setting until you have first looked at Family Type Certified Homes
for the Elderly. We are able to efficiently and professionally care
for the elderly with diversified needs. Family Type Homes are
certified for only four residents, so we are able to care for your
loved one in a thoughtful and caring manner. |

Marge, Muriel, Augusta and
Edith eat their breakfast outside while enjoying the Summer
weather. |

Here you see Augusta Coccusso, a Snowdrop
Home resident for over four years, in her bedroom watching
TV. Augusta loved all kinds of sports, her favorite past
time was to go to the Saratoga horse races in August.

- We are together 24 hours a day
- We sleep near each other
- We all eat together
- We say "God Bless" to one another
- We watch Lawrence Welk and remember the time when we
too, "danced to that tune"
- We can just relax in the company of other residents

For a person with dementia or Alzheimer's, our every day routine
is very important. The same familiar face seen each morning as they
wake up, or on coming to the breakfast table, provides a sense of
security. Being there to hold their hand helps them not to be
afraid. And for the operator or substitute caregiver, it is a warm
and good feeling to hear the residents say: 'I wouldn't know what to
do without you,' or 'I'm so glad you are still here.' |

In the Snowdrop Home all birthdays are
celebrated. Above is Augusta's 86th birthday. |
